Mothers with Attitude is written and edited by Terri Mauro, who adopted two special-needs kids from Russia in 1994 and has since earned life-experience degrees in neurology, child psychology, and the harassment of Child Study Teams. She is also the Parenting Special Needs guide for About.com, and the author of The Everything Parent’s Guide to Sensory Integration Disorder. Her second book, 50 Ways to Support Your Child’s Special Education, will be published in July 2009 by Adams Media.
